Due to some changes in availability, we have chosen to move the
ASRA District 1 show from Elkin,NC
to Greenville, SC. The date is changed from Nov. 1 to Nov.
15. The judge will still be me (Jim Armstrong). Entry fee will
be $3.00/bird, with a $2.00 rebate to our district. There are
numerous motels and restaurants in the area. I will forward the
show information to you as soon as I receive it. If there are
any Dist. 1 members on this list, please contact me.

November 9-10 – Due to
irreconcilable differences with the show site managers, the ASRA
District 1
show has been moved
from Mt. Airy, NC to Elkin, NC (about 20 minutes further south
on I-77) in the
gymnasium of Bridges
School. The show will still be in conjunction with the Foothills
Pigeon and Dove
Club. The show dates
remain Nov. 9-10 and Bill Robinson will still be judging. There
are plenty of
hotels and eating
establishment in the area. Entry fee will be $3.00 per bird and
there will be no mail-
out of entry blanks;
just put the band #, color, age and sex of each bird and send
the entries
directly to me.
Entries will close Nov. 5. If you would like, you may e-mail the
entry to me at
armstjb@auburn.edu , put "ASRA entry" in the subject line,
and then send the entry fee in to me by
U.S. Postal Service.
